I can take action to improve the water cycle in Canterbury In this project I was working with Jacinta and we decided to create…A story book

In this project we decided that our success criteria were:  
A good Children’s Story needs...
Why is this important?
Theme and plot
It needs a plot and title or the reader will get confused and stop reading.
A point, lesson and promotion
There needs to be a point to the story and a lesson so when the person has finished reading they have learn’t something
Story structure
It will need structure to it as well because or there won’t be the main part of the story.
Characters
Make up your own characters to make the story more interesting!
Setting
It needs a setting. It could be in 1905 at war or the year 3000 in the future!
Overall our project met/do not meet this criteria because...It has a good theme and plot (going to the beach).  it has a good point/lesson/promotion (not to litter in our waterways) story structure introduction (meet kate and amy) problem (rubbish everywhere) and solution (they picked the rubbish up) characters (amy and kate) setting (beach, home, bedroom, walkway)

30/3/17 Today after school me and Savanah went around all the classrooms to collect pozis as a part of our weekly duty as house points co-ordinators. Me and savanah have a system in place where we go to the class rooms in order so we don't disturb any important lessons. First we go to two of the year 6 classes the year 5 then 4,3,2,1 reception then the other year 6 class class. I think me and Savanah are doing really well at our duty we get it done quicker each time.  Me and savanah show active thinking and community by activly thinking our way aound the classroomes and showing community by helping the comunity of oaklands school by not interupting the important lessons, I also showed Integrity by being honest and fair to all houses and giveing them all a chance to win.

Key leadership-Pozis at cross country-Excellence blog post #3

12/5/17 On Monday we went down to cross country at Westlake Park. Me and Savannah decided we would take down 4 different coloured buckets to represent each of the houses because all of the people showing great effort would get a pozi and put it in there house colour bucket. When we got down there I handed out handfuls of pozis to all the teachers. Me and Savannah had to keep an eye on the bucketts and every now and then when Savannah was watching the buckets I went to cheer on some of the other people in the races. I think I showed community by helping out at Westlake Park which is part of our community, I showed trust worthy because I was able to be trusted with handing out pozis to people.
